2025 Federal Election: What do young people think as important issues

Australians have seen the last debate between the two leaders of major parties. At the end of the debate 25% of the panel of voters who have not made up their mind - remained undecided.

But what about young Australians, what are their concerns? Mia Dunphy, PhD student and Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne told SBS Indonesian about issues that young people passionate about, including conflict in Gaza.

Mia said that their frustrations and disappointment with the big parties compel them to seek alternative.

With the number of young voters outnumber the baby boomers in this election, Mia hope that the election results will change the direction and  landscape of politic in Australia.
