‘Spice Up the World’ which is also a program of the Indonesian government, is the theme of the Indonesian Street Food Festival which was held by ICAV ICAV (the Indonesian Culinary Association of Victoria) on 22-23 March 2025 at Victoria Market, Melbourne.


‘Spice Up the World’ program - portrays, promotes Indonesian spices to the world, so that Indonesian food becomes well known around the world.  

The Indonesian Ambassador to Australia, Dr Siswo Pramono, considers the efforts and contributions of ICAV in promoting Indonesian food in Australia to be extraordinary.  

Through the Indonesian Ambassador to Australia, the Indonesian government gives the highest appreciation to ICAV which represents all Indonesian entrepreneurs in the culinary sector in Victoria and Australia with the Prima Duta Award. The ambassador belives that Indonesian cuisine is increasingly popular in Australia. This is evidenced by the increasing number of Indonesian restaurants.
