The government said that Indonesia's economic growth spatially has been relatively good, and also that the inflation rate until February 2025 is still low with inflation. Is that so?

Indonesia's economic growth in 2025 is not expected to be as good as expected. In fact, the economic growth figure will most likely not be able to stay at the 5% level it will be in 2024.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has just lowered Indonesia's economic growth forecast to 4.9% for 2025. This figure is lower than the previous estimate which stood at 5.2%.

To find out more about it SBS Audio contacted Jahen Rezki, PhD from the Institute for Economic and Social Research of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Indonesia (LPEM FEB UI).
