Dr Anita Dewi, a lecturer in Communication Sciences at Charles Sturt University who is the leader of the OJWM (Jawi Waton Muni Orchestra) spoke with SBS Indonesian about the music group's performance at the 2024 Indonesian Festival. Dr Anita explained about the OJWM preparations and what songs will be performed. According to her, what is certain is that you will be brought into an exhilarating mood that will make you sway to the rhythm of the music, which is sometimes also lilting.
OJWM: It's carefree but makes people dance

Various music and dance groups from Melbourne and Indonesia will enliven the Indonesian Festival stage at Argyle Square, 6 Oct 2024. One of them is OJWM (Orkes Jawi Waton Muni), a group of music lovers which has performed in many community events.
