She has been building up her reputation as a musician who combines multiculturalism and Korean tradition in the cross-over music arena, and ‘future virtuoso’ in jazz.

More recently, Chloe made a debut as a composer and ‘rolled up her arms’ in training music students as a casual lecturer in the Drum Set degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Chloe’s singular strength as an artist is solo drum set performance.

In 2022, she performed solo at the Museum of Old and New Arts in Tasmania, and at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.

Furthermore, she has crossed the musical  horizons from a performer to a composer with the successful  completion of her 'Morning Fog'  songwriting debut with  the 5-piece ensemble 'Emanation', which she recently formed with all-star jazz  musicians: Australian jazz legends Sandy Evans (saxophone), Jonathan Zwartz (bass), Zela Margossian (piano), and Hilary Geddes (guitar), to present her original compositions.
“I feel the happiest and most assured these days when I sit in front of the drum set, and so, in order to maintain my creativity and capacity in drumming, I am trying to figure out ways to form healthy habits as a musician”, Chloe said.

Chloe hopes to continue developing her ways of working as a drum set practitioner, practitioner-researcher, and educator (similar to being an athlete), some of which include searching for ways of practising the drum set, considering ways of presenting the music and figuring out ways to return the love and support she has benefited from the Australian music community.
