The New South Wales government is assuring the community New Zealand tourists will be separated from international travellers at the airport on arrival.

From today, New Zealanders can travel to New South Wales, the ACT and Northern Territory but they must quarantine for a fortnight when returning home.

Health Minister Brad Hazzard says New Zealanders will arrive at Sydney airport through separate channels and they'll need to complete a health declaration.
