Despite the unprecedented situation of the COVID19 pandemic, POSCO Australia was unable to stop or postpone the delivery of plaques of appreciation to veterans of the Korean War.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Korean War cessation.

Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID 19, many events to commemorate this couldn’t be held.

However, in the midst of the pandemic, South Korean steel-making company POSCO is currently carrying out a project to deliver the memorial tablet in remembrance of 70th year of Korean War cessation to about 2,800 Korean War veterans all around the world.

In Australia, POSCO Australia delivered the appreciation tablets to 86 Korean War veterans around the country as well as some reusable face masks imported from Korea.
