From Indigenous astronomy, bush medicine or dance and story telling: Indigenous Science Experience in Redfern has it all

Visitors of a free community event in Redfern had a chance to participate in workshops, discuss and learn and try various STEM activities. Coordinated by the National Indigenous Science Education Program (NISEP) and in collaboration with First Nations scientists, STEM academics and outreach organisations, the Indigenous Science Experience aims to inspire and showcase the amazing world of science in a culturally appropriate and respectful way. As the organisers say, the event is "a celebration of Indigenous and Western science". NITV Radio spoke to the organiser Prof Joanne Jamie and Bundjalung man William Frazer, who has been involved in the National Indigenous Science Experience Program (NISEP) and hosts of the Indigenous Science Experience.
