NITV Radio's Kerri-Lee speaks with artist Reko Rennie and his striking artwork adorning a McLaren supercar unveiled ahead of F1 weekend in March.
Reko Rennie is a prond Kamilaroi artist wit and interest in in bringing camoflague and geometric designs in the large scale.
Previously had worked with Heineken for the F1 Grand Prix by creating a camouflage pattern on the grounds, a huge undertaking that could be seen while the supercars raced round the track.
"I grew up in Melbourne Western suburbs, come from a small working class environment and back then I had an interest in cars"
Reko reflects on his growing up in neighbourhoods where car culture surrounded him and how he has both that experience and combining art, culture and racing.
