Originally from India, Mr Jadhav’s bike reportedly collided with a truck at around 11:30 am on last Sunday when he was riding along the busy Forrest Highway- infamous for its bad crash history.

Police immediately established a crime scene and cordoned off the northbound lanes of the highway after the accident was reported.
The truck driver involved in the mishap who stopped after the crash occurred has been helping the police and the crash investigators to determine the cause of the collision.

According to his Linkedin profile, Mr Jadhav was a mechanical engineer from India who was working as a consultant in Perth’s CBD and had extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.

In his free time, he often cycled long distances and posted about his rides on social media.

At the time of the incident, he was preparing for the 200 km ‘Ride to Conquer Cancer’ for Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in October.

His fellow cyclists paid a tribute to the “keen rider” on Facebook.
