Australia goes to the polls on May 18, while India too is in the midst of its massive electoral exercise spread over seven phases.

SBS Punjabi caught up with Punjabis living Down Under and asked them how they make their electoral choices as citizens of Australia. While some of them dwell upon the policies of Australian political parties, others simply miss the energy and colours of India's electoral long haul that began on April 11 and will end on May 19. Results will be declared on May 23.
