S2 #2 'Pouyehali'. Jewish emigration from the USSR. Numbers and adaptation

"Pouehali" is an SBS Russian podcast where we talk about the waves of emigration from Russia and the Soviet Union. In the second season, we talk about the emigration of Jews from the USSR to Australia, which began in 1974.

• Immanuel Gruzman, Research Fellow at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University.
• Sima Tsyskin, former Executive producer of SBS Russian, moved to Australia from Estonia in 1979.

The first season was released in 2022 and told about the modern wave of immigration from Russia to different countries after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
