The Kiwis have done it again.
Air New Zealand have released their Christmas video, which lovingly pokes fun at the Kiwi accent - and those who struggle to understand it.
In the 2.25 minute video, Santa is on the phone speaking to children around the world about what they would like for Christmas.
The man in red skillfully handles conversations with kids in China, but when it comes to New Zealand, his struggle with the accent causes a few problems - and results in the elves making 'puggy banks', a 'book of magic trucks', and 'biscuitballs'.
"While it's no secret the Kiwi accent has been misunderstood at times, it's also a signature part of our service," Air New Zealand's chief marketing officer Mike Tod says.
"We wanted to celebrate the festive season and the Kiwi accent in a humorous and uniquely New Zealand way."
The video, titled A Very Merry Mistake, was posted on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtags #MirryChristmus and #AccentEnvy, and have been viewed and shared thousands of times.
It comes hot on the heels of the "world's most entertaining police recruitment video" by the New Zealand Police which has gone viral.
Last year Air New Zealand released another wildly successful Christmas ad, featuring Ronan Keating and Julian Dennison recording a festive tune for the Southern Hemisphere.
