Richmond recruit Chris Yarran has returned to the club after having been granted leave for mental health issues.
Yarran has not played a game for Richmond after joining the club in last year’s trade period.
His former club Carlton exchanged Yarran for the 19th pick in the AFL draft, and for now the Blues have got the better of the deal.
Yarran was been struck down with calf injury and then surgery on his foot extended his stay on the sideline.
The Western Australia was granted permission to return to his home state for personal reasons and then granted indefinite leave to work on his mental health.

The midfielder made his return to training and Richmond football manager Dan Richardson said it was an important step in his rehabilitation.
"After consultation with medical staff, we have agreed that Chris is ready to return to the club, and he has commenced training this week.
"We will continue to provide him every support he needs to manage his condition.
"No timeline has been put on his return to playing football”, Richardson told Richmond.com.au.
Despite the stop-start nature of his life at the Tigers, the club remains committed to Yarran, with coach Damien Hardwick happy to give the player as much time as needed to return to full health.
