Detectives Max and Sander are called in when four boys are found dead in an abandoned pool. They soon discover the existence of a fifth boy.

The detectives discover the fifth boy, Jabrill, is connected to a murder case Max's wife has been working on.

A connection to prostitution is made between the murdered students. A tip leads Max to a secret place in the forest.

The door must be looked at by a special force unit before the investigation can continue. Max questions Sander's tactics; Sander confronts Bo; Asha thinks about what her client Magnus is hiding.

Max acts in pure anger and ends up risking his career; Max admits to Asha why he feels guilty about his son's death; Max and Sander search for a human trafficker.

Sander and Max are both plagued by prophetic hallucinations; as the investigation into Sander continues, the photographs of him in the trafficker's home are given a shocking explanation.

The detectives admit to each other that they've been having the same supernatural experiences; they find an old newspaper article on a missing teenager while searching one of Noah Evensen's hideouts.

Sander and Max confront Noah, who tells them that Jabrill is at the lake; the detectives go after Jabrill and are sucked underwater; Bo sees a mysterious figure by the lake.
