1. Cornwall
Featuring pasties, fresh mackerel, pigeon and peas and clotted cream, all products of Rick's beloved Cornwall.
2. Southern England
Rick looks at red cider from Somerset, peppery watercress from Hampshire streams, and Thomas Hardy's favourite cheese.

Rick investigates London's Borough market, samples eel pie, visits a free-range goose farm in Leicester, and has a pint or two at a brewery in Scotland.

In Wakefield, Rick meets Janet Oldroyd, whose family have been harvesting rhubarb for the past four generations, and they whip up a tasty rhubarb crumble. Then in Bradford, he discovers the perfect recipe for lamb karahi at a Karachi restaurant.
8. South East England & Wales
Rick and his little hairy friend, Chalky, pay a visit to Rick's favourite formal vegetable garden at Chatsworth House. He crosses the River Severn to sample the delights of Wales, including cawl and Welsh black cattle.
9. North East England & Scotland
Rick travels north and cooks salmon caught on a trip on the River Tyne. He then crosses over into Scotland to visit Loch Fyne, before sampling Highland beef from an organic farm on the Isle of Mull and meeting a champion haggis maker in Edinburgh.
