Arthur is released from prison and continues his research in Point Nemo. There, scientists, including his daughter, have discovered an algae capable of slowing down climate change. However, a murder starts the nightmare all over again.

Zach goes missing before he can release the DNA results from Kowalski's murder; Olivia escalates her search for the scientist.

The crew lock Charlie in a cell accusing him of the murders; Arthur discovers a PBR on board, a machine that someone has introduced to steal the experiment.

Charlie has managed to break free and is out of control. He has cut the power, without which the algae will not survive, and the Alexandria is adrift; Maggie finds Rachel's house and gets some information out of her roommate.

Another person turns up dead, and Arthur claims they are the killer; Yuto makes a chilling discovery and commits an unspeakable act of violence; Lauren tracks down Maggie and makes her record a confession.

The ship is blown up, but the scientists get to jump into the only lifeboat that's left. Unfortunately, the murderer remains unpunished and free to do more harm.
