Sixteen teams will battle it out with the competition divided into four groups of four teams with only the top two from each progression to the knockout rounds.
Reigning champions Portugal are determined to defend their crown but will face fierce competition from Brazil who have won an incredible five Beach Soccer World Cup titles.
Hosts Russia were crowned Beach Soccer world champions in 2011 as well as in 2013 and will be determined to snatch their third title in front of their passionate home support.

The tournament will get underway on August 19 with all matches to take place at the specially built Luhzniki Beach Stadium in Moscow.
