Madame X and Lil Nas X - now this is one friendship we can really get behind.
Gay icon and music legend Madonna shared a video on Instagram TV yesterday, revealing that award-winning rapper Lil Nas X was sitting front row - and alone - at one of her concerts at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Approaching Lil Nas in full Madame X show costume, Madonna was quick to request a swig of his beer - which, obviously, he obliged. She then asked whether he was at the show alone, which he was - coming straight from the American Music Awards nearby.
“I’m in the presence of a legend,” he replied.
“I’m just happy to be here.”
With the audience watching on, the high-profile pair went on to chat about the places they'd grown up, with Madonna sussing out whether Lil Nas X could live up to his cowboy aesthetic.
“Do you ride horses?” the pop star asked.
"Every now and then," he said in response.
Madonna then inviting the 'Old Town Road' singer to ride horses with her at her horse farm in upstate New York.
"I'll teach you how to ride, baby!" she said, whipping open her paper fan.
