The AFP has liaison officers across Asia, including the Philippines, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar, working with local authorities to disrupt scam operations and deliver training. To combat growing threats to Australians, two AFP cybercrime experts have been deployed to the Philippines to support training on emerging cybercrime tactics and technologies used in real-world scams.
