"Everybody online is sending so much support is amazing and people have been donating which has been super kind as well, to try and help us cover all the prep costs which have been through the roof."

Sanctuary Mama B from The Owl and The Pussy Cat Farm Animal Sanctuary speaks with NITV's Ngaire Pakai about storm preparations and impact of flooding.

The Sanctuary is also a registered charity that cares for rescued, re-homed and neglected farm animals with 87 residents including cows, pigs and ducks that are now since Thursday 6th are flooded in at Crabs Creek with Mama B, her partner and daughter taking care of the remaining animal residents.
