Andrey Gugnin won the Sydney Piano Competition in 2016 and has since performed extensively in Russia and abroad. But after the shock departure on the day the aggression against Ukraine began, the pianist is not going to return to Russia. Nevertheless, his career has been developing very successfully, and has recently reached a new upswing.
