The dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, in the part of the Kherson region annexed by Russia, has been destroyed. In Ukraine, the incident was called "ecocide". SBS Russian spoke to UWEC's Eugene Simonov about the environmental consequences of the dam breach.
