Fifita understands lure of French fortune

Semi Radradra is currently caught in a battle between the big dollars on offer from European Rugby and the National Rugby League; however he’s not the only one in the firing line.

New South Wales and Cronulla forward Andrew Fifita has revealed that he would find it hard to say no to the huge money on offer from rival codes.

Fifita has found himself in a similar situation before, with the Australian Rugby Union placing a sizeable contract in front of him before he joined the Cronulla Sharks.

It was even comments made by Fifita about his temptation for the big dollars on offer in Rugby that saw a contract offer rescinded by the Canterbury Bulldogs.

With the Sharks forward approaching the end of his current contract, offers will come flooding in, and Fifita is entertaining talk of Rugby yet again.

“If someone threw me a million dollars to go to union, I’m going with no hesitation,”

 “Anytime, anywhere.

“I’m not saying I’m going to break my contract or move away to another state or go to union, but if someone threw me that much cash on top of my contract now, I’d leave in an instant just because of the facts.

“I grew up playing union and that was my main sport. I would love to have a look after my contract is finished up at Cronulla,” Fifita told the Daily Telegraph.
