Wade Graham thought he'd missed the chance at his Origin dream, after being suspended for Origin II.

The Sharks back rower was granted another opportunity at the State of Origin arena, as one of two changes made for the third match of the Origin series.

Graham and Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco are the additions to the New South Wales squad, with Greg Bird and Matt Moylan missing out on the side.

New South Wales Origin coach Laurie Daley said he couldn't deny Graham a second chance at wearing the Sky Blue jersey.

"Wade's been on the verge for a couple of years. I know how passionate he is about playing for NSW and he won't let anyone down."

Whilst many hoped Daley would make wholesale changes for the third games of the series, with Queensland already holding a 2-0 lead, the New South Wales coach said he was focused on victory.

"There's no such thing as a dead rubber. We're disappointed after game two and we need to come out and give a good performance for our supporters.

"The guys that have come into the team deserve their spot and hopefully they'll play as well as they've been playing for their clubs", said Daley.
