NITV's Dan Rennie Talks Tropical Cyclone Alfred as He Prepares to Weather The Storm

"For a lot of people they have never been through a cyclone before"


Kerri-Lee from NITV gets in contact with NITV Queensland correspondent and resident Dan Rennie as he, his family and wider community prepare fore Cyclone Alfred to make landfall.

Dan shares that they are following advice from authorities to be stocked and prepared with essential which has to him "pretty much caused wet COVID, panic buying has happened and still going on".

While also making observations of the animals and wildlife, Dan notes that it's "a beautifully eerie kind of feeling" as he experiences some calm among the storm.
