The Mabo Centres' new partnership between The University of Melbourne and the National Native Title Council.

Newly appointed Director of the Mabo Centre Professor Eddie Cubillo will work closely with Professor Marcia Langton is the Co-Chair of the Mabo Centre alongside alternate Co-Chair Professor Paul Kofman and Jamie Lowe, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Native Title Council. And the Mabo Centre will be led by a Board of First Nations community economic experts and leaders.

The centre at the University of Melbourne at Parkville will offer First Nations organisations around Australia the opportunity for more economic outcomes through land and sea rights. The Mabo Centre will also do research and delivery training to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to develop leadership skills and strengthen shared knowledge.

The Mabo centre will support First Nations organisations and Traditional Owner groups across the country to further advance native title opportunities with First Nations leadership.
